There Is No Such Thing As Best Midjourney Prompt - Is There?
What is a best Midjourney prompt? Is it subjective, or even realistic to ask this question? But still you know it when you see one. Over time people have gotten to know Midjourney AI, and advanced their prompt strategies. Prompts made by these individuals pioneering Midjourney image creation techniques, can be considered best, or at least better than average.
I like to write about AI, image processing and ChatGPT. But my work is not limited to these subjects. Oh, and I never use AI to generate my content.
Oh and one more thing guys...I'm an independent author, I would be grateful if you shared this article around. I created this button below, just click and share the link.

Was this image created using the best Midjourney prompt in Cyberpunk genre?
Midjourney prompt that was used to generate this image:
There is no such thing as best midjourney prompt.
But you can increase chances of creating best image in a particular genre if you know intricate details about a particular theme. Which is often achieved by spending months, if not years, creating art in a that genre. Is AI art ethical? That's not the question here.
Yes, you can do it in seconds with Midjourney. But due to how Stable Diffusion algorithm works, fundamental issue with AI-generated content is that it has no conscience of what or why it created what it did. In many ways it's trial and error, even for occassional "best" image.
This is why Midjourney offers like/dislike button on upscaled images, that eventually make it to Midjourney's public image gallery. Human vote is still required, simply because a large majority of images generated with AI will be generic, no matter how diverse they appear at first.
It's easy to be deceived by making yourself feel like you are the author of these images. But in reality you really aren't. So let's just agree that when we say best midjourney prompt, what we mean is that it's best image possible sourced from decades of original work produced by human creativity and imagination and trained into an AI model.
Add on top of that, of course, that nothing is original to begin with. You can't create a completely original Sci Fi monster regardless of whether you used AI or not. It'll always be a composite of animals and insects you've seen, that you did not create.
Best Midjourney Prompts
What is a best midjourney prompt anyway? It's fair to say, it's identified by above-average quality. But then, what is above average quality? This really depends.
Generally, best prompts in a particular genre or theme will be created by industry professionals in that category of artwork. Cyberpunk? Portrait Photography? Filmmaking?
For example, a professional portrait protographer shooting portraits all of their life, knows everything about portrait lenses, aperture settings, etc. They'll be at advantage of creating best Midjourney portraits, because they know how to trigger a specific type of a photograph.
Whereas someone without any experience will apply trial and error approach. Eventually they might simply look it up on Google, and copy prompts from others. But nothing compares to intricate knowledge of subject matter, of someone who actually spent their entire life ruminating on the subject and noticing all types of nuances.
Midjourney Best Prompt 1 - Ultra Realistic Cyberpunk Female Portrait
Here is a close up portrait of a cyberpunk female character. This is one of the best examples of cyberpunk Midjourney prompts I've seen, with ultra detail, and hyper realistic clothing.
The prompt that was used to generate this image:
Let's take a look at other best prompts.
Midjourney Best Prompt 2 - Breaking Glass Bottle With Water Splashes
I don't claim the rights to creating this image. I don't even know exactly what prompt was used in order to create it. It definitely looks high resolution, I'd say even 4K.
This image was found on Reddit under Midjourney V5, but it also said that Version 5 isn't here yet? This dramatic image definitely qualifies to take the title of Best Midjourney Prompt:
Midjourney Best Prompt 3 - Robot Studying For Turing Test
Found it on Reddit. See credits underneath the image.
The prompt was:
From the prompt author: The result is using several layers, stacked and edited in Photoshop. Special focus was to optimize the eyes and hands. I did a lot of rerolls and tuning of the prompt by doing A/B tests of words, keeping it short helps with that. "Evening" is a way to get a sunset (it's a bit more open than adding "sunset", think a more subtle sunset), which was meant to express the long hours of studying (among other more metaphorical meanings). What I liked in particular in this image was the apparent human in the background possibly turning their head to look.
ChatGPT explains "The Turing Test is a measure of a machine's ability to exhibit human-like intelligence. It was proposed by British mathematician and computer scientist Alan Turing in 1950 as a way to determine if a machine can truly exhibit human-like conversation and thinking. In the Turing Test, an evaluator interacts with both a human and a machine, without knowing which is which, and if the machine is able to fool the evaluator into thinking it is human, it is said to have passed the Turing Test."

Midjourney Best Prompt 4 - CineStill 800T film, cinematic lighting, full body, 4K
From the prompt author: Beginning with close up portrait doesnβt guarantee realistic results but it seems to help. I find keeping background details minimal helps too.
The AI probably tries to fit everything you describe into the picture. So if you type a lot about background it has to try to fit all of that in.
