Muting, Banning, Disabling Video, or Kicking a User from Your Discord Server

If you need to manage a user's permissions, first right-click on their username. You'll see several options. You can mute the user, which prevents them from sending messages in any of the server's channels. You can also disable their video stream.

Another option is to block a user. This will hide their messages in a shared server. You'll see a message like "blocked message show message" and you can choose to view the message or ignore it.

You can also timeout a user, which temporarily restricts their ability to interact on the server. During this timeout, the user may be unable to send messages, react to messages, or participate in voice chats, depending on how the role's permissions are configured.

If you want to remove a user from your server, you can kick them. However, keep in mind that they can rejoin again. If you want to permanently remove them, you can ban them from your server. When banning, you can choose the reason and even decide to delete their message history. After clicking on the red ban button, the user will automatically leave the server.
